Cancer patient of Northeast Cancer Hospital in the Jorabat 'commits suicide'

GUWAHATI: Padma Chetri, a cancer patient under treatment at Northeast Cancer Hospital in the Jorabat area, allegedly committed suicide on Thursday night.

Padma Chetri was a resident of the North Lakhimpur district. The exact cause of death is yet to be ascertained. An initial investigation found no suicide note in the patient's cabin (No. 201).
