The camps, held at Nartap GP and Tetelia GP, saw active participation from multiple banks. The Nartap GP camp was organized by State Bank of India, Sonapur Branch, in collaboration with UCO Bank and Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, both from Sonapur. The Tetelia GP camp was organized by Bank of Baroda, Tetelia Branch, with support from UCO Bank, Dhopguri Branch, and Assam Gramin Vikash Bank, Khetri Branch.

The events were attended by several senior officials, including RBI NER Regional Director Sunita Phukan, RBI DGM (FIDD) Poonam Chhetia, RBI AGM Sumil D. Bodarkar, and others.

Addressing the gathering, the RBI Regional Director emphasized the importance of Re-KYC and urged people to enrol in government social security schemes like PMJDY, PMJJBY, PMSBY, and APY. Numerous applications were collected on the spot, while Bank Correspondents were instructed to visit villages to complete Re-KYC and activate dormant accounts.

The Jansurakshya initiative aims to promote financial inclusion, expand access to banking services, and bring social security schemes to every eligible citizen in the district.
