GUWAHATI: The portal for the filling in of forms online for the HS final examination, 2025, has been reopened on December 3 and will remain open till December 7, 2024.
Earlier, the portal was opened on November 8 and closed on November 30, 2024. However, a large number of students could not fill in their forms within the stipulated time. That led to a debate in the state.
For the first time, the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) is going to conduct the HS final examination in 2025. When the board announced the routine for the HS final year examination on November 25, 2024, it came to light that a large number of students could not fill in their forms for the HS final examinations. That led the board to reopen the portal to enable the students, who could not fill in their forms in time, to fill in now. The board requested all heads of institutions under its jurisdiction to complete the process of filling in forms by December 7, 2024, as it (the board) will not extend the date any further. The HS final examination will be held from February 13 to March 17, 2025. The practical examinations, on the other hand, will begin on January 29 and conclude on February 10, 2025.
