THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Veteran Congress leader A. K. Antony warned that a third term for Pinarayi Vijayan's Left Democratic Front would stall Kerala's development and worsen its economic situation.
Speaking in Thiruvananthapuram, he said the Bharatiya Janata Party has no electoral future in Kerala due to its communal harmony, and predicted victory for the United Democratic Front in the April 9 Assembly polls. Antony criticized Vijayan as inaccessible, raised concerns over unemployment and youth migration, and warned Kerala risks falling behind other southern states. He also cautioned that continued LDF rule could harm the state's identity, while adding he does not want the Left to be destroyed but to reform. (ANI)
