TAWANG: The healthcare sector in Arunachal Pradesh has reached a significant milestone with the inauguration of the Designated Microscopic Centre (DMC) and a state-of-the-art Dental Unit at the Community Health Centre (CHC) in Jang, Tawang region. Marking a major boost to healthcare infrastructure in the region, the facility was formally inaugurated by Zila Panchayat Chairperson Leki Gombu.
The DMC aims to enhance diagnostic capabilities, particularly in the early detection and elimination of tuberculosis. Meanwhile, the Dental Unit will ensure improved access to oral healthcare services for the people of Jang and surrounding areas.
Reflecting the government’s commitment to bridging the healthcare gap in remote regions, this initiative is a key step in strengthening the healthcare delivery system in the region.
The villagers and community leaders expressed their heartfelt gratitude for Chief Minister Pema Khandu’s continued support and his visionary leadership in driving healthcare development across the northeastern state. Marking a significant leap forward in public health services in the region, CHC Jang is now well-equipped to serve the healthcare needs of the population with the launch of the DMC and Dental Unit.
Meanwhile, the Arunachal Pradesh Cabinet on Wednesday took several significant decisions aimed at public welfare, including expanding the scope of the Chief Minister’s Bal Seva Scheme (CMBSS) and increasing pensions under the Chief Minister’s Social Security Scheme (CMSSS).
