Advantage Assam 2.0 Summit: Govt Signs Agreements with Investors in Sivasagar

SIVASAGAR: In alignment with the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0 Investment and Infrastructure Summit 2025,’ the second day of the agreement-signing ceremony between the Assam Government and various investors took place at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the Sivasagar District Commissioner’s Office today. The event witnessed the participation of key officials, including Sivasagar District Commissioner Aayush Garg and District Development Commissioner Samiran Bora, along with other senior officials from the district administration and different departments.

According to district administration sources, on the second day, a total of 35 investors signed Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with a collective commitment to invest Rs 40.51 crore in various sectors within the district. These investments aim to boost industrial development, infrastructure expansion, and economic opportunities in Sivasagar.

Over the course of the two-day event, a total of 77 investors signed agreements, committing to a cumulative investment of Rs 125.88 crore. This investment drive aligns with the Assam government’s initiative to enhance business opportunities and infrastructural growth in the region. The agreements reflect investor confidence in Sivasagar’s potential as a key economic hub, further strengthening its role in Assam’s development roadmap.

The administration has assured full support to facilitate these investments, ensuring smooth execution and implementation.
