APCC President Bhupen Kumar Borah Announces Reshuffle in District and Work Allocations Among Party Office Bearers

Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bhupen Kumar Borah had made a minor change in the allotment of the districts and other works of party office bearers.

Guwahati: Assam Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) president Bhupen Kumar Borah had made a minor change in the allotment of the districts and other works of party office bearers. As per the changes, the APCC secretaries, Jintu Hazarika, and Mukul Hussain are attached to the president. Working president Zakir Hussain Sikdar has been given charge of the Assam Pradesh Youth Congress, the National Student Union of India, and the Assam state.  Vice president Abdul Hamid has been appointed as the in-charge of Assam Pradesh Mahila Congress and Sevadal. Vice president (VP) Ajit Singh has been given the duty of Hailakandi district. VP Arun Dutta Mazumdar has been given the charge of Dima Hasao. VP Pranatee Phukan will be looking after Jorhat. VP Gunakanta Gogoi has become the in charge of Dibrugarh. Madhuryya Goswami was given the charge of Lakhimpur and he will be the protocol to party VVIP. Nabajyoti Talukdar is the in charge of Kamrup Rural and Nripen Thakuria is the in charge of Dhubri. RP Sharma has been appointed as the in charge of Tamulpur.  Rupa Deori is the in charge of Karbi Anglong. Balika Lahon Pegu will look after Bajali district, Bobbeeta Sharma was given the charge of Bongaigaon district, and Sharif-Uz-Zaman Laskar will look after APCC protocol to VIP visit, especially in Barak Valley. Manjula Das was given the charge of  APCC legal department, and Mehdi Alam Bora was given the charge of Goalpara district.

The party general secretaries has also been appointed as the in-charges of the districts and they will be looking after other party works and activities.
