GOLAGHAT: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) has strongly criticized the Chief Minister’s remarks on the cancelled board exams in Assam. In a press statement, the party’s State General Secretary Rajiv Saikia expressed outrage and demanded that the Chief Minister retract his statement. Saikia emphasized that exams are a sacred process and should not be taken lightly. He also questioned the Chief Minister’s decision to announce the cancellation of exams without proper authority.
The controversy began when the Chief Minister announced on Facebook Live that the cancelled board exams would not be rescheduled. This decision was met with widespread criticism, with many questioning the Chief Minister’s authority to make such an announcement.
The AAP has joined the chorus of criticism, with Saikia asking the Chief Minister to reveal the identity of the student who allegedly advised him against rescheduling the exams. Saikia also questioned the Chief Minister’s tendency to make important announcements without proper consultation or authority.
The issue has sparked a heated debate in Assam, with many calling for greater transparency and accountability in the state’s education system.
