JAMUGURIHAT: Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today visited THB College, one of the primer colleges of the north bank of Assam today, and had an interaction with the college students. As a part of his three-day visit to Sonitpur and Biswanath districts, the Chief Minister inaugurated various developmental schemes and laid foundation stones of many innovative projects too. As per his schedule, the Chief Minister visited THB College today and laid the foundation stone of the indoor stadium. The college authority and local organizations accorded a warm felicitation to the Chief Minister. After that, he reviewed the ongoing construction work of the girls’ hostel. It was followed by an interactive session with the college students. The CM also addressed a party public meeting organized at Baresohoriya Bhaona Project site today.
It is pertinent to mention here that the Chief Minister has been in Naduar LAC on a two-day tour. He will visit Kanyaka Bahumukhi Krishi Pam to observe the ongoing projects. The CM will also visit ‘Madhuri Ahotor Talar Mukoli Bihu’ site Sootea on Wednesday. The Madhuri Ahotor Talar Mukoli Bihu is the first and the pioneer of Mukoli Bihu in the state.
