GOLAGHAT: The final electoral roll for preparation of Panchayat Raj Election in Golaghat district has been completed and released today.
The completion was done as per the Assam Panchayat Constitution Act, 1995. SEC of 01/2023/Part/6 and 14/10/2024, on the basis of the order of Part/60, 01/2023/ Part/60. A notification for publication of this final voter list has been issued from the Golaghat District Commissioner Office.
In the first phase of publication of the draft electoral rolls of The Assam Panchayat Raj Institutions, the electoral roll of the Panchayat published on 29/09/2023 has been prepared by including the names of eligible voters in the electoral rolls of the Assam Legislative Assembly published on 08/02/2024. In the second phase, the revised electoral roll of panchayats was prepared as per the panchayat limit redrawing process of 2024 gram panchayats, regional panchayats and zila parishads of the government of Assam, and the draft electoral roll was published on 18/12/24.
According to the final voter list released today in 20 Zilla Parishad constituencies of Golaghat election district, the total number of voters is 7,89,106. Of these voters, 3,93,113 are male and 395981 female voters.
The final voter list released today is available on the website (non-photo) of the Online Electoral Roll Management System (OERMS) of the Assam State Election Commission. The voters can find their names in this list through the website. The said voter list will also be available on the website (https://golaghat.assam.gov.in) of Golaghat District Administration.
