Assam: Free eye camp held at Mahuramukh

A free eye camp was held on Sunday at the Mahuramukh Youth Theatre under the Numaligarh Refinery's Social Responsibility Scheme.

BOKAKHAT: A free eye camp was held on Sunday at the Mahuramukh Youth Theatre under the Numaligarh Refinery's Social Responsibility Scheme, organized by the Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital, Mahuramukh Regional Students' Association, and the Srimanta Sankardev Sangha's Bokakhat District Service Wing. The camp was inaugurated by Beena Rajkumari, Chairperson of the Komargao Regional Writers' Association, in the presence of Chandan Bora, Secretary of the Central Service Wing of Srimanta Sankardev Sangha.

Amarjyoti Borthakur, Dr Deeparani Doley, Dr Farmon Ahmed, Bhanu Bora, Anupam Bora, and several other members of Jorhat Lions Eye Hospital were present, providing medical treatment to 250 patients from the larger Mahuramukh region, and referring 30 patients for eye surgery to Jorhat Hospital.
