Assam Minister Ranoj Pegu Holds ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’ Roadshow In Hyderabad

HYDERABAD: The Government of Assam, in collaboration with FICCI as the industry partner, organized the ‘Advantage Assam 2.0’ roadshow in Hyderabad on January 23, 2025, at Hotel Taj Krishna.

This event was part of preparations for the upcoming Advantage Assam 2.0 – Investment & Infrastructure Summit 2025, scheduled for February 25-26 in Guwahati.

The summit aims to position Assam as a key investment destination and gateway to Southeast Asia, showcasing the state's improved infrastructure, abundant natural resources, and investor-friendly policies.

During the roadshow, Ranoj Pegu, Assam’s Minister for School Education, Higher Education, and Tribal Affairs, highlighted the state’s economic transformation and the policies designed to attract investments across various sectors. He also emphasized Assam's commitment to creating an conducive environment for investors.

Senior Assam government officials addressed the audience, focusing on key sectors for investment. Dr. B. Kalyan Chakravarthy, Additional Chief Secretary, discussed investment opportunities in Assam’s tourism sector, while K. S. Gopinath Narayan, Principal Secretary of IT, spoke about opportunities in AI and VR technology.

Other speakers included Oinam S Singh, Commissioner of Industries & Commerce, and V. V. Rama Raju, Co-Chairman of FICCI Telangana State Council.

Minister Pegu also shared that Assam has already attracted significant national and international interest. He emphasized the state’s rapid development in infrastructure and industry, positioning it as an emerging investment hub with a bright future.
