Assam: Rashtriya Kritagyata Evam Jagrookta Yojana Drive Held in Kokrajhar

An initiative drive for Rashtriya Kritagyata Evam Jagrookta Yojana was held at Deborgaon HS School and UN Academy in Kokrajhar on Tuesday.

KOKRAJHAR: An initiative drive for Rashtriya Kritagyata Evam Jagrookta Yojana was held at Deborgaon HS School and UN Academy in Kokrajhar on Tuesday. The drive was initiated by the Governor of Assam Lakshman Prasad Acharya in collaboration with the Directorate of Sainik Welfare, Assam, and District Administration, Kokrajhar. The event was graced by Nitya Binod Wary, ADC of Kokrajhar, serving officer Lt Col Tushar Sharma, 2nd-in-Commanding Officer, 135 Territorial Army Battalion, and Professors Dr  Sahalad Borgoyary, Dr Sijousa Basumatary of CIT, Kokrajhar, and Bodoland University. Hony Captain Karna Kumar Brahma (Retd), Zila Sainik Welfare Officer, Kokrajhar welcomed the guests and the participants. The main motive of the event was to enhance understanding and foster holistic development and capacity building among the students by addressing key areas like patriotism, defence knowledge, Indian culture, ethics, and discipline. More than 280 students in Deborgaon HS School and over 400 students in UN Academy, Kokrajhar, participated along with the academic staff.
