Assam: Tinsukia to Host First-Ever TATA IPL Fan Park as Part of BCCI's 2025 Initiative

The Fan Parks will span 10 weekends, starting from March 22 and continuing till May 25, making it a nationwide celebration of cricket.

TINSUKIA: In a thrilling development for cricket lovers in Assam, Tinsukia is all set to host its first-ever TATA IPL Fan Park as part of the IPL Fan Parks 2025 initiative by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI).

The announcement was made on Thursday, March 20, marking a significant moment for sports enthusiasts in the region.

The 2025 edition of the IPL Fan Parks will cover 50 cities across 23 states and one union territory, offering a grand cricket viewing experience for fans beyond the stadiums.

The Fan Parks will span 10 weekends, starting from March 22 and continuing till May 25, making it a nationwide celebration of cricket.

Tinsukia joins the list of new cities like Dimapur, Kakinada, Karaikal, Rohtak, Purulia, and Manbhum, which will be experiencing the electrifying atmosphere of IPL Fan Parks for the very first time.

In order to ensure a carnival-like experience for visitors of all ages, each Fan Park will offer live match screenings on giant LED screens, along with music, entertainment, food courts, kids’ play zones, virtual batting and bowling zones, cheer-o-meters, replica dugouts, and 360° photo booths.

Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals have announced that Riyan Parag will lead the team for the first three matches of IPL 2025 as the regular skipper, Sanju Samson, will take up his leadership duties once he’s fully fit.
