PATHSALA: An IEC camp under the Dharti Aaba Janbhagidari Abhiyan was held at Dumuria GP office in Bajali, led by Ranjeet Kumar Dass, Cabinet Minister, Government of Assam. The camp aimed to saturate the benefits of key government schemes in the tribal-dominated villages of Bhethua and Lecherapara.
Around 350 tribal residents participated in the camp, which focused on awareness and on-the-spot access to flagship schemes such as Jal Jeevan Mission, PM Surya Ghar, Ayushman Bharat, Mission Shakti, Mission Vatsalya, Orunodoi, and PMEGP. Health camps for sickle cell and TB testing were also conducted. The Sericulture Department offered insights into silk-related livelihood opportunities.
Dass emphasized the importance of community involvement and assured continued government support for inclusive growth. The local community appreciated the outreach, making the event a success in promoting welfare measures in remote tribal areas.
