NAZIRA: A quiz competition was held on August 10 at Gurukul Senior Secondary School, Hahchara, on the occasion of Independence Day. The competition was organized by Marwari Yuva Manch’s Sivasagar, Amguri, Dimow, Nazira, Sonari, Moranhat, and Simaluguri branches.
The competition was inaugurated by Dr Sabaysachi Mahanta, Principal of Gargaon College. A total of 42 teams participated in the competition. The top three teams were St. Peter’s Nazira (Sahil Rahman and Abhinav Bargoain), New Look Academy, and Town Euro School, in that order.
The top teams were awarded cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. Secretary Muhit Maskara played a key role in the competition’s organization. The event was well-received by the participants and spectators alike.
