BOKAKHAT: The number of wild elephants killed after being hit by a train at Kampur in Nagaon on Saturday has risen to eight. An elephant calf that was seriously injured in the accident was brought to the Kaziranga Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Centre for advanced treatment. Unfortunately, the calf died on Sunday morning while undergoing treatment.
