KOKRAJHAR: In a proud moment for Bodoland Transport, the new Bus Stand has been  inaugurated by Ranendra Narzary, EM (Transport), BTC, in the presence of Lawrence Islary, MLA, Kokrajhar, near the DTO office, Khargaon in Kokrajhar. During his address, EM Ranendra Narzary highlighted the dedicated efforts made over the past five years to strengthen and develop the transport sector in the region. He expressed his continued commitment to resolving challenges and bringing forward new initiatives for the welfare of transport workers. He further assured that he would pursue necessary sanctions from higher authorities to establish restroom facilities for drivers and conductors, ensuring they have a proper space to rest and refresh during their duties.

Adding to this milestone, Bodoland Transport has now also introduced an online booking facility for the public, enabling passengers to conveniently and instantly book their travel tickets with Bodoland Transport. This inauguration marks another step forward in the development journey of Bodoland Transport and its service to the people.

It may be mentioned that the Bodoland Transport Services has been giving a laudable services since long and has reached out in most of the important remote places of BTC. The BTS has directly connected Udalguri, Masbat, Dimakuchi, Nikasi, Salbari, Mushalpur, Tamulpur, Guwahati and many interior areas with Bodoland headquarter-Kokrajhar. The service is also extended to Gahpur connecting Rowta, Orang, Dhekiajuli and Biswanath Chariali.
