Public Accounts Committee of Assam Legislative Assembly visits Sivasagar for project review

The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Assam Legislative Assembly visited Sivasagar district to review the implementation of various government schemes and projects on Thursday.

SIVASAGAR: The Public Accounts Committee (PAC) of the Assam Legislative Assembly visited Sivasagar district to review the implementation of various government schemes and projects on Thursday. The eight-member delegation, led by Nurul Huda, assessed the progress and effectiveness of several initiatives under different government departments.

Upon their arrival in Sivasagar in the morning, the PAC members conducted site visits to assess the status of various ongoing schemes and projects implemented by various departments such as DRDA, Zilla Parishad, PHE, PWD, Agriculture, Food and Civil Supplies, etc. In the evening, they convened a crucial meeting with senior officials from various departments to discuss the findings and challenges observed during their review.

The review meeting, which held at the Sukafa Conference Hall of the DC’s Office was attended by Sivasagar District Commissioner Aayush Garg, District Development Commissioner Samiran Bora, all Additional District Commissioners and assistant commissioners, and senior officials of various departments.
