KOKRAJHAR: CIT- Kokrajhar organized an international conference on Monday on Intelligent Computing and Technology Conference (ICTCon 2024), which has left a lasting footprint on the academic and industrial landscape, setting a remarkable tone for research and innovation. By bringing together distinguished academicians, industry leaders, and policymakers, the event has established CIT-K and the Bodoland Territorial Region (BTR) as emerging hubs for cutting-edge discussions and technological advancements.
The conference not only attracted 105 high-quality paper submissions from prestigious institutions such as IIT, NITs, Central Universities, and contributors from the US software industry but also upheld rigorous academic standards through its peer-review process. With only 37 papers selected for presentation and publication in Springer’s CCIS (Communications in Computer and Information Science) series, the conference showcased a commitment to quality and innovation.
The presence of influential figures, such as Pramod Boro, Chief Executive Member of BTR, Nayan Kumar Barua, Executive Director of IOCL, and Akhilesh Singh, Project Head of NTPC, highlighted the event’s significant impact. Their insights emphasized the importance of academia-industry collaboration, furthering the narrative of technology-driven growth and sustainable development.
A special emphasis on emerging areas like artificial intelligence, healthcare technologies, and language preservation set a visionary tone for future research endeavours. The active participation of sponsors, including IOCL, NTPC, HP, and Digitaloma, underscored the industrial relevance and applicability of the discussions, ensuring that the conference’s outcomes extend beyond academic circles to real-world solutions.
At the conclusion of the event, Dr. Pranav Kumar Singh expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of the conference.
