DIBRUGARH: Dibrugarh District has achieved a remarkable milestone by securing the third position in Gunotsav 2025, a statewide assessment of schools in Assam. A total of 1,636 schools from the district participated in the evaluation, showcasing the region’s commitment to quality education.

Deputy Commissioner of Dibrugarh Bikram Kairi has expressed his gratitude to the teachers, educators, and education department officials for their dedication and hard work in achieving this success. He emphasized the importance of continued efforts to improve the district’s education system and hoped for even greater achievements in the coming years.

The official result announcement ceremony took place at the Srimanta Sankardeva International Auditorium in Guwahati. Sivasagar District won the first position while Golaghat was ranked second and Dibrugarh came in third. Representing Dibrugarh, Sadar Sub-Divisional Officer (SDO) and Inspector of Schools Dr Samiran Bora received the award for Gunotsav 2024 from Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
