Assam Govt Distributed E-rickshaws to Beneficiaries of Darrang and Udalguri Districts

The Assam Linguistic Minority Development Board, Government of Assam, distributed twenty two e-rickshaw to the selected beneficiaries of Darrang and Udalguri district at Pragati Sangha in Tangla town

TANGLA: The Assam Linguistic Minority Development Board, Government of Assam, distributed twenty two  e-rickshaw to the selected beneficiaries of Darrang and Udalguri district at Pragati Sangha in Tangla town on Tuesday. Attending the e-rickshaw distribution ceremony Chairman of Assam Linguistic Minority Development Board, Shiladitya Dev said , “ The linguistic minority community encompasses not only Bengalis but Hindi speaking and other recognised communities under its ambit as provided by the constitution . “ He  asserted the commitment of the state government for inclusive growth and prosperity of the cross -sections of the society. He further elaborated that through the limited funds of the board community halls,sports pavilion,eco -park, cultural centre ,hostels have been built across the length and breadth of the state. The event was also attended by Member of Assam Linguistic Minority Development Board ,Sujit Sarkar; Accountant of the board, Makibur Rahman who handed over the keys to the beneficiaries and appealed them to take advantage of the welfare scheme of the government which have provided the e-rickshaw as cent percent subsidy.
