New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) vice-president Rajeev Shukla on Tuesday confirmed that Rohit Sharma will be playing the upcoming second Test and lead the side against the Aussies.
"The victory in Perth is of great importance. Our bowlers and batsmen played very well."
Later he added," Rohit Sharma is ready to play the second test as the Captain.
Meanwhile, Indian skipper Rohit Sharma started practising in the nets as he joined the team in Australia for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy after the birth of his second child.
It may be mentioned here that India now leading the test series 1-0 after they beat Australia by a huge margin of 295-run. (ANI)
