'KKR' colours light up Dubai's Burj Khalifa ahead of Kolkata side's first IPL match
It needs mention here that former IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders are the last team to begin their campaign in the tournament

Dubai: Fans of the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Kolkata Knight Riders are in for a treat as the tallest building in the world, Dubai's Burj Khalifa, has been lit up with the KKR's colors ahead of the side's first game in the league. KKR begin their IPL 2020 campaign against 'Mumbai Indians' on Wednesday (September 23).
KKR, making this announcement on Twitter through its social media handles, wrote, "Before the fireworks tomorrow, here's the curtain raiser! We won't stop, on our way to the top. Thank you @BurjKhalifa for lighting up in #KKR colours."

Interestingly, the faces of some of the top players of the Kolkata-based side, including that of captain Dinesh Karthik, have been flashed on the Burj Khalifa. The side's anthem, "Korbo Lodbo Jeetbo", has also been played.
It needs mention here that former IPL champions Kolkata Knight Riders are the last team to begin their campaign in the tournament. All the other sides have already kickstarted their campaigns to take home an IPL trophy.
The KKR side will be bolstered by the presence of T-20 stalwarts like Andre Russell and Sunil Narine. New arrivals Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins, and Tom Banton are also expected to give the team, an edge in the latest campaign.
