Itanagar: Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Thursday tested "negative" for coronavirus infection. He had tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.
''Because of the wishes and prayers of each one of you, I am glad to inform that I have tested NEGATIVE,'' Khandu tweeted.
Khandu on September 15 took to Twitter to announce that he was asymptomatic and healthy but had isolated himself after tested positive for COVID-19.
Khandu (41) is the third chief minister to test positive for the virus. Earlier, Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar also tested positive for COVID. Both Chouhan and Khattar recovered from the infection.
